Bio

 

 

Carol H. Mack is a Registered Nurse and a retired attorney. As a bedside nurse and Clinical Nurse Specialist, she practiced oncology nursing for more than 30 years in a variety of settings, including both inpatient and outpatient, medical, surgical, and radiation oncology. She has been a member of the Oncology Nursing Society since 1979 and is past President of the Greater Los Angeles Chapter. Later in her career, while working for a biotechnology company on new oncology therapeutics, Dr. Mack became interested in the law and attended law school. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2009 and practiced in the areas of elder law and health law. Throughout her career, Dr. Mack has continued to teach nursing and health science in a variety of settings. Most recently, she developed and taught Introduction to Health Law at California State University, Channel Islands.
