Mission Statement

Our mission as a nonprofit, faith-based hospital is to provide the highest quality health care services to the communities we serve.

CME Mission Statement

Hoag’s medical education department strives to provide high-quality continuing medical education (CME) opportunities for physicians and health care providers intended to improve competence, performance and/or overall patient outcomes.

Hoag’s CME programs are designed to disseminate current, practical, evidence-based and culturally relevant information on a broad range of topics all chosen through a comprehensive needs-assessment process.

Our goal is to provide clinicians with educational opportunities that will contribute to their professional learning, maintain clinical competency, enhance their knowledge, improve practice performance and promote the appropriate implementation of medical advances. As a result of these educational activities, Hoag CME programs closes the gap between actual practice and what is considered best practice in the community, regionally and nationally.
