Pandian, Director, Noninvasive Cardiac Imaging at the Jeffrey M, Carlton Heart & Vascular Institute, it is with the deepest regret that we announce the cancellation of the 37th Advanced Echo Conference on September 8 -10, 2022 in Huntington Beach, California. Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Explain current updates on the new developments in Echo Technology
  2. Describe how to perform, interpret and apply 3D echo and strain imaging
  3. Interpret complex Doppler hemodynamics
  4. Explain the utility of 2D/3D echo in guiding valve surgery and structural heart interventions
  5. Demonstrate a simplified approach to assess diastolic function
  6. Explain the value of various echo modalities in the assessment of acute and chronic heart failure patients
  7. Distinguish various dilated and infiltrative cardiomyopathies
  8. Explain the potential of Artificial Intelligence as it applies to echocardiography
  9. Discuss the spectrum of Hypertrophic CM and management implications of echo findings
  10. Explain the utility of echo imaging in aortic, pericardial, neoplastic disorders
  11. Learn of the use of vascular ultrasound as relevant to cardiology procedures
  12. Demonstrate how they provide culturally competent care to their patient populations and the role of linguistic competency in their daily practices by their use of interpreters as needed
  13. Presenters will also discuss how they confront conscious or explicit bias as well as unconscious or implicit bias in their patient populations
