Overview
This conference will discuss the spectrum of valve disease, both common and uncommon, surgical and percutaneous interventions, and complicated valve issues, as well as the application of echo in aortic diseases, ischemic and non-ischemic myocardial disorders, acute and chronic heart failure, arrhythmic diseases, pericardial disorders and neoplastic pathology.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Explain current updates on the new developments in Echo Technology
  2. Describe how to perform, interpret and apply 3D echo and strain imaging
  3. Interpret complex Doppler hemodynamics
  4. Explain the utility of 2D/3D echo in guiding valve surgery and structural heart interventions
  5. Demonstrate a simplified approach to assess diastolic function
  6. Explain the value of various echo modalities in the assessment of acute and chronic heart failure patients
  7. Distinguish various dilated and infiltrative cardiomyopathies
  8. Explain the potential of Artificial Intelligence as it applies to echocardiography
  9. Discuss the spectrum of Hypertrophic CM and management implications of echo findings
  10. Explain the utility of echo imaging in aortic, pericardial, neoplastic disorders
