2024 Adult Reconstruction and Total Joint Replacement HOI - 10/10/2024

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), ABS CC (1.00 hours), Fluoroscopy Credit (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (1.00 hours)

This case conference is designed to address the nuances of joint reconstruction and revision surgery through a case-based approach.

1. Assess the use of various laboratory and radiologic imaging tests used to assist in the diagnosis, management of knee and hip osteoarthritis as well as for the evaluation of failed joint replacement requiring revision surgery.
2. Be familiar with current surgical treatment approaches, guidelines and advances in the treatment of surgical complications following joint replacements, including infections, aseptic loosening, instability and stiffness.
3. Employ historical and current engineering principles for the design and function of joint replacement implants.

Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian designated this Live Activity educational activity for the maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit^TM. Physicians Should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
