In addition to 20 esteemed digestive health presenters, this symposium will feature Keynote Speaker Dr. Gene Im, M.D. from Mount Sinai, New York and featured presenter, Dr. Kenneth Chang, M.D. Receive the latest insights on medical and surgical approaches tailored for gastroenterologists, general surgeons, oncologists, primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and registered nurses.

1. Dr. Ravi Kankotia | Discuss the role of endohepatology in the management of a bariatric patient. Evaluate various endoscopic techniques in the pre-operative and post-operative phase of bariatric surgery.
2. Dr. Kenneth Chang | Discuss the role of POEM (per-oral endoscopic myotomy). Evaluate the prevalence of GERD and the role of therapeutic endoscopy for GERD management.
3. Dr. Gene Im | Discuss presence of alcohol use disorder and its effect on alcohol-associated liver disease. Evaluate diagnosis and medical management of alcohol-associated liver disease. Discuss indications for liver transplantation in those with early alcohol-associated liver disease.
4. Dr. Jared Forrester | Evaluate innovative minimally invasive techniques and advancements in hepatobiliary surgery
5. Dr. Brian T. Lee | Evaluate diagnostic strategies for MASLD and methods for fibrosis assessment. Discuss implicit bias noted in patient population with MASLD. Evaluate newest treatment strategies and medications in pipeline for MASLD.
6. Dr. Ron Wolf, Dr. Jared Forrester, Dr. Tse-Ling Fong | Case Discussion Presentation | Discuss the management of hepatocellular carcinoma, including locoregional options, systemic treatment options, along with curative options of surgical resection vs liver transplantation
7. Dr. Catherine Ngo | Evaluate diagnosis of gastroparesis. Discuss medical management of gastroparesis and when to refer for procedural management.
8. Dr. Paul Korc | Discuss indications for G-POEM. Discuss endoscopic technique of G-POEM and risks vs benefits.
9. Dr. Elizabeth Raskin, Dr. Bobby Rad | Discuss prevalence and incidence of colorectal cancer in current era, including its effect on younger populations. Discuss minimally invasive techniques in resection of colorectal cancer, including surgical outcomes.
10. Dr. Caroline Hwang, Dr. Rashmi Kumar | Discuss current era of medical therapy for inflammatory bowel disease and assessment prior to and during treatment.
