Overview
Join us for an immersive, one-day, multidisciplinary symposium designed to advance the knowledge and clinical skills of spine surgeons, neurologists, and interventional pain physicians. This year’s format will feature a dynamic series of small panel discussions centered around real-world case presentations, followed by brief, focused topic presentations by panelists. With 7–8 concise sessions, this structure encourages rich dialogue, practical insights, and collaborative learning—mirroring the multi-disciplinary collaboration at the Hoag Spine Institute. Participants will explore the latest innovations in spine care, from advanced surgical techniques and minimally invasive interventions to emerging neurodiagnostic tools and evidence-based pain management strategies. The symposium fosters cross-specialty collaboration and a team-based approach to optimizing patient outcomes.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Review the latest strategies and guidelines for the management of acute and chronic spine pain
  2. Discuss innovative treatments and emerging therapies for the effective management of chronic spine pain
  3. Describe evolving approaches in the diagnosis and management of radiculopathy due to spinal stenosis
  4. Review current best practices and treatment options for managing degenerative conditions of the cervical and lumbar spine pathology
  5. Describe the most effective, evidence-based therapeutic interventions for lumbar spine degeneration.
  6. Explain comprehensive rehabilitation strategies for restoring spine muscle function
  7. Explain the recommended diagnostic workup and management options through the presentation of unique spine cases
  8. Discuss diagnostic workup and management strategies available for complex spine cases through detailed case presentations
  9. Differentiate between hip and sacroiliac joint problems based on clinical and diagnostic criteria
