Join your clinical colleagues at Hoag’s 2022 Digestive Health Symposium on Saturday, October 22, 2022 in Huntington Beach. This daylong educational and networking event will focus on the latest medical and surgical advances in digestive health. Presentations and interactive panels will focus on the latest advancements in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD); fatty liver and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), robotic foregut and hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery; medical and surgical approaches to weight loss and interventional endoscopy including transoral incisionless fundoplication (TIF) and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). This symposium is designed for physicians, nurses and other health-care professionals interested in advancing their knowledge of digestive health.

  1. Discuss advances in the treatment and surgical advances in inflammatory bowel disease.
  2. Outline guidelines for the monitoring and management of acute and chronic digestive diseases and recent advances in GI Endoscopy.
  3. State the role of emerging technologies and treatments for medical and surgical management of digestive diseases through GI Endoscopy/Interventional Endoscopy.

  5. Provide an overview of liver diseases including non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and hepatocellular carcinoma.
  6. Evaluate surgical and medical management options available in the treatment of GERD.
