Faculty from a multidisciplinary team will explore current practices as well as provide cutting edge information such as future trends that will lead to enhanced patient care and improved diagnosis for patients with vascular disease.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Identify different types of hemodialysis access, describe normal and abnormal ultrasound findings, and perform qulaity imaging studies of fistulas and grafts.
  2. Describe diabetic foot ulcers, including complications and evidence-based management strategies.
  3. Analyze challenges in arterial imaging and evaluate clinical applications impacting diagnosis and patient outcomes.
  4. Identify anatomical structures affected by thoracic outlet syndrome and assess physiological changes during provocative maneuvers.
  5. Apply B-Mode and pulsed wave Doppler techniques to enhance patient care outcomes.
  6. Explain portal hypertension pathophysiology and evaluate TIPS utility and related complications.
  7. Summarize DVT clinical presentation and apply ultrasound techniques in treatment decision-making.
  8. Describe mesenteric artery anatomy and pathology and evaluate patient outcomes following vascular reconstruction.
  9. Analyze case examples of venous pseudoaneurysm with unconventional respirophasic Doppler waveform.
  10. Evaluate imaging techniques used in arterial pseudoaneurysm caused by gunshot injury.
  11. Identify clinical signs of radiation vasculopathy and analyze diagnostic imaging roles in treatment planning.
  12. Explain venous hemodynamics and interpret waveform patterns to inform treatment strategies.
  13. Outline the progression of post-thrombotic syndrome and describe imaging's role in therapeutic planning.
  14. Describe renovascular disease complications and evaluate ultrasound's diagnostic contribution.
  15. Define extracranial vascular anatomy and apply imaging protocols for carotid artery assessment.
  16. Describe thermographic imaging applications in venous insufficiency and implement quality imaging protocols.
  17. Assess vascular pathologies including: popliteal entrapment, carotid, abdominal, thrombosis, and aneurysmal disease through multi-case study interpretation to enhance diagnostic accuracy and inform clinical decision-making.
